[Damon] didn’t blame his high-powered agent, Scott Boras, for coming up with just a one-year deal for $8 million.
“No one could’ve anticipated how this market was going to be,” Damon said. “Jermaine Dye and Felipe Lopez are still out there. It’s a tough market.”
Truth be told, I think everyone predicted things would end this way for Damon, right?
Still, despite the crazy winter, I’ll miss our former left fielder and wish him luck as a Detroit Tiger.
