Morning Bits: Wang, Aceves, Johnson, Robertson

Here are a few quick items on the morning:

  • Tyler Kepner recently checked in with Chien-Ming Wang, who had nice things to say about Stephen Strasburg.
  • The Yanks lost yesterday’s game against Houston, 8-6, as Al Aceves gave up 5 ER over just 4 1/3 innings.
  • This won’t be seen as a news anywhere else but here, but Nick Johnson scored from first base last night.
  • Is Dave Robertson Mariano Rivera’s successor? With the BB, probably not, but he could be a fine settup man.

Back to the NJ item, he made it home thanks to a double from Alex Rodriguez. Expect a lot of that this season.
