Morning Bits: Vazquez, Teixeira, Hairston Jr.

Here are a few quick items on the morning:
- Bill Madden of the Daily News thinks Javier Vazquez can’t handle the pinstripes (really, after 2 starts?).
- Mark Teixeira is hitting .097 on the season but isn’t making excuses (I guess he can’t handle pinstripes either).
- The San Diego Union-Tribune has a nice read out on Jerry Hairston’s return to NY to receive his WS ring.
It was nice to see Hairston return for the ceremony. He was a good teammate last season.
