Granderson on DL with Grade 2 groin strain

May 1, 2010, 7:44 pm by · 1 Comment

Via Josh Thomson of LoHud, we learn that Curtis Granderson has been placed on the 15-day DL with a Grade 2 strain of the left groin. According to Will Carroll, baseball’s resident injury expert, Granderson could be out for 2-4 weeks, which really isn’t all that bad (assuming he is correct). Luckily, the Yankees have Brett Gardner, who can now shift to center field, limiting any defensive loss. For the time being, expect Joe Girardi to cobble together left field with a combination of Marcus Thames, Randy Winn, and possibly another outfielder like Greg Golson (someone can be recalled now that Granderson is on the DL). This is a tough break for the Yankees, that’s for sure, but they have some outfield depth, making it manageable.

Great blog! Sorry to change the subject, but I recently had some hail damage to my house, so I’m looking to find a great roofing company in Nashville TN. Have you heard of any good ones? There’s a roofing company in Hendersonville, right outside of Nashville, called AE Roofing & Exteriors who could be good, but I’ve only seen a few reviews. Here’s the address of these Nashville roofers, 108 Midtown Court #203 Hendersonville, TN 37075 (615) 431-2283. Thoughts? Thanks!
