Here are a few quick items on the (Mother’s) day:
- Thanks to Mark Teixeira and Francisco Cervelli, the Yankees beat the Red Sox yesterday, 14-3,
- In the sixth inning of the game, Alfredo Aceves exited with a stiff lower back. He’ll miss 2-3 days.
- Back to Mark Teixeira for a second—prior to yesterday’s game, he was hitting .181/.328/.295.
He went 4-for-6 against the Sawx with 3 HR and 5 RBI. His season line is now .205/.343/.396.
