Here are a few quick items on the morning:
- Although Sergio Mitre put forth a valiant effort, the Yankees lost to the Tigers yesterday, 5-4.
- Prior to last night’s game, the Yankees sent down Romulo Sanchez in order to recall Ivan Nova.
- Here’s a random note—the Yankees have signed 17-year old Venezuelan catcher, Rainiero Coa.
- The Yankee bullpen has been shaky lately, but fear not—Chan Ho Park has been progressing.
Who knew fans would be missing Park after his poor first outing?
