Morning Bits: Doubleheader, Pettitte, Valverde

Here are a few quick items on the morning:
- With last night’s rainout, today the Yankees are scheduled to play Detroit at 1:05 and 7:05 pm.
- Via Bryan Hoch, Andy Pettitte threw long toss yesterday and will throw a bullpen session today.
- If you witnessed Jose Valverde close the other night, you might have noticed that he’s a nutjob.
The Yankees were not upset by his antics on the mound, however.
