Swisher exits game with strained bicep

Tonight, after one painful at-bat in which he winced and grimaced as he swung, Nick Swisher was soon pulled from the game due to left bicep pain – an issue that has become significant over the past week – and sent to the hospital for a precautionary MRI. Though his MRI results have been “deemed” negative, the Yankees are still saying that Swisher has a minor bicep strain. He is listed as day-to-day, although I expect Joe Girardi to at least try and be conservative with Swisher going forward (or at least that is what he should do).
