Morning Bits: A-Rod, Granderson, Gardner

Here are a few quick items on the morning:
- Don’t walk Mark Teixeira to face Alex Rodriguez. It’s just a bad idea.
- Curtis Granderson isn’t mashing against lefties, but he is improving a bit.
- Brett Gardner cut his thumb while sliding into second base yesterday.
He should be fine going forward. Gardner was actually caught twice by Cleveland’s Lou Marson. Prior to Memorial Day, he had been caught only twice this year and had never been thrown out twice in one game.
