Morning Bits: Recap, Gardner, Lee

Here are a few quick items on the morning:
- Thanks to CC Sabathia and Robinson Cano, the Yankees topped the Orioles, 4-2.
- Brett Gardner’s thumb might be a concern. X-rays were negative, but an MRI is a possibility.
- A Yankees official shot down Cliff Lee trade rumors yesterday. No surprise there.
If Gardner’s thumb proves to be an issue, you could see the Yankees enter the trade market for an outfielder. Their rotation depth is strong, while their offensive depth – in the event of an injury – is not as substantial.
