Here are a few quick items on the morning:
- A.J. Burnett pitched 6 2/3 innings last night, allowing 4 runs en route to a 3-4 loss.
- Alex Rodriguez was pulled from the game with a sore groin. He’s considered day-to-day.
- A-Rod will speak with doctors this week, including Mark Philippon, his hip surgeon.
- Speaking of injured players, Jorge Posada is working his way back behind the plate.
