Morning Bits: Recap, Olney, Lee, Brackman

My apologies for the post scarcity this week. Work, man.
Anyway, here are a few quick items on the morning:
- Thanks to Alex Rodriguez and CC Sabathia, the Yankees beat Joe Torre’s Dodgers last night, 2-1.
- How about A-Rod? After a few off days and a few days at DH, Alex has 2 HR and 2 2B over his last 4 games.
- Last night was the long awaited Torre-Yankees reunion. Buster Olney explains the rift between the two.
- Speaking of Olney, yesterday he tweeted that the Yankees are looking at trade pieces besides Cliff Lee.
- And, lastly, a missed bit on my part–Andrew Brackman was promoted to AA, where he lost in his debut.
The Yanks play again tonight at 7:10, when A.J. Burnett faces Hiroki Kuroda. I actually received a text message from a friend who lives in LA and loves the Dodgers reading, “Please, just don’t sweep us.”
