Sad news for his mom but from what you read he really isn’t that close with her and he has lived his just his dad for most of his life.

I often wonder if this stuff affects Joba, mentally and emotionally. I’m sure it does, but I also wonder how that then affects him on the field and what not. It’s really a sad situation.

I’m not sure how much it does or doesn’t affect him just because she was never really around and his dad was his parent for the most part in his young life. As someone who grew up without a father for the most part it wouldn’t affect me if he was arrested for something or whatever he did. Now maybe he feels this way maybe not, it’s almost impossible to know.

Speaking of drugs the 30 for 30 story with Lin Bias is on… What a shame that he allowed a drug to end such a promising life!

The Len Bias story is very sad. It’s almost unbelievable.

It’s sad from a personal and emotional side but take that out of it and you still have a huge part of NBA history that is changed because of that… Just think about what the Celtics could have done with a guy like Len Bias.
