pedro vs nyy

Jayson Werth is highlighted because of his strange yet powerful line (.188 OBP and .750 SLG). Pettitte will need to be careful with him (curveballs away). Alex Rodrigez is highlighted because of his successful numbers against Pedro. He hasn’t exhibited much power against him, but he seems to see the ball well. For that reason, I’ll predict a big night for Alex. I also think Mark Teixeira will finally bust out with a home run (he’s due). Let’s go, Yankees.

No excuses, play like a champion.

He should definitely be brought back as the DH for a year and Damon should be let go…

Pedro has looked very hittable even more so than 4 runs he has allowed so here hoping he gives up a few more.

Well Damon is out with injury (Calf) and Hairston takes over in LF hopefully this doesn’t go 7…

Pettitte looks a lot better stuff wise then he did in Philly!

How do you not bring back Matsui? Seriously? I don’t care if he can’t play defense, he hasn’t been affected by stretches of not playing this season and he absolutely embodies clutch. Words cannot express how much I’d rather have him than Damon. Aaaaaand there’s a double for RBI # 5 and 6 as I type. Come on. I felt like this before the playoffs even started; this is just gravy for my argument at this point.

IT really isn’t close at this point, you have to bring back Matsui to DH next year!! We should write the Yankee front office haha

We need to petition them. If we don’t bring him back after this WS, what with him literally winning game 6 for us for the clincher and all, we could be facing a Curse with a capital C situation.

The biggest test of the fans at the new stadium is upcoming. How loud will they get?

Matsui deserves that MVP trophy. There’s no doubt about this one. Also, he got jobbed on that last at-bat. He absolutely did NOT go around with the head of the bat.
