Here are three quick items on the day:
- Bud Selig will likely step down once his contract expires after 2012.
- Former Yankee Ross Ohlendorf is interning at the Agricultural Department.
- Marco Scutaro is being courted by the Red Sox and seems to like them.
Back with more later…

Karstens gets cut and Ohlendorf gets an internship… Going from a Yankee to a Pirate is devastating haha.

Scutaro makes sense because the Jays did just take Gonzalez and an offensive SS seems to be what the Sox have desired since shipping off Nomar… Though I doubt Scutaro does as well with them as he did this year.

Yea, this year’s power looked like a fluke if I’ve ever seen one.

Career highs in almost every offensive statistical category says contract year to me…!

IF I were the Sox I would trade for Yunel Escobar to be my SS over signing Scutaro.
