Yanks worried about Sheets’ health

According to Newsday’s Ken Davidoff, the Yankees consider Ben Sheets an option, however, he is “not on the board,” according to a “person in the Yankees’ loop,” due to the team’s concerns regarding his health. However, though their apprehension is understandable, questions will always remain about Sheets’ health. Therefore, signing him will always be a risky decision. The Yankees have to look at it as such, but will also have to weigh the benefits of such a maneuver, especially with limited options available to them (Sheets is the best arm available, really).
