Gardner the regular?

Although Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports has guaranteed that the Yankees’ “outfield next season will not be Curtis Granderson, Nick Swisher and Brett Gardner,” what if Rosenthal is mistaken and the Yankees do, indeed, decide to stick with that particular configuration for financial reasons? As stated by Newsday’s Ken Davidoff, the Yankees “are hellbent on adhering to their budget of under $200 million,” therefore, even Mark DeRosa, says Davidoff, may not be a good fit for the team. What if, then, the Yankees choose to employ Brett Gardner, full-time (in left or center field)?
Is this a scenario you find believable or will the Yankees acquire someone else to replace the Melk-Man?
