- With regards to total payroll, the Yankees have actually spent nearly $2 billion over the last 11 years.
- Another tidbit from Brown, since ’99, the Yankees have spent over 44% more than the Red Sox have.
- Switching gears, the Yanks aren’t expected to continue chasing Ben Sheets with Javy Vazquez in tow.
- Finally, former Yankee Raul Mondesi is running for the position of mayor in his hometown in the DR.
