Damon finally reaches deal with Detroit

From MLBTR, we learn that Johnny Damon has finally agreed to a deal with the Detroit Tigers. The contract is for one-year – there is no option included for a second year – and provides Damon with $8 million, guaranteed. This is a big win for Damon and his agent, Scott Boras, who created a market out of thin air and still managed to receive a healthy annual salary.
